Columns from Tabletalk Magazine, November 2011
The November edition of Tabletalk is out. This month's issue seeks to unpack the biblical-theological meaning of certain words commonly used in Scripture that, nonetheless, remain either largely misunderstood or not fully understood among laymen. These include Amen, Blessing, Church, Covenant, Glory, Heaven, Kingdom, Loyal-Love, and Worship. Contributors include R.C. Sproul, John Piper, Derek Thomas, Michael Horton, Carl Trueman, Kevin DeYoung, Donald Whitney, and R.C. Sproul Jr.
We do not post all of the feature articles or the daily devotionals from the issue, so you'll have to subscribe to get those. But for now, here are links to a few select columns and articles from this month:
"In Defense of Words" by Burk Parsons
"Amen" by R.C. Sproul
"Problematic Analogies and Prayerful Adoration" by Carl Trueman
"What Kind of Unity?" by William Goligher
"From Pastor to President: An Interview with Philip Graham Ryken"
"Keep the Presence of God" by John Piper
"God's Hammer" by R.C. Sproul Jr.
