Don’t Give Up

All is dark
like a thousand nights
Gone too far
there is no return

The bottom has dropped out
the door slammed shut
Let me die.

If these are words
that tell of your life,
Don’t give up —
there is hope for you.

God is not angry,
He is on your side
His Son has
taken your place

To die
that you may live.
