STILL KICKING (AND WRITING, I SWEAR!)

Oh, hello friend! It's been some time, hasn't it?

While some authors may make it a point to denounce excuses, I'm going to be real and say that life is happening.

I have a day job that brings in income needed to help support myself and my family and it's tough to get into a writing mindset a lot of times. It's been over one year since my last blog post! The focus of family and making sure everyone else is taken care of is important to me so that comes first.

However, I am alive and well, which means that writing is happening as well but at a much slower pace.

As an update, I've been writing a full length story which has me stumped. In the meantime, I've gotten to writing another short story I've had in my head for some time. This will be released before the full length piece (it might even become a novella, depending). I'll get in some teasers eventually so make sure to follow me on twitter via @RealRicSantos.

Anything else to mention? It's after 11:10pm and I'm tired from the day so nothing exciting really. Just letting you all know I'm still here, writing when I can and there's more to come.
