Ask the Dice is a tale of Tommy Mack Zane, a middle-aged hit man who decides to retire from the business. His crime boss has other ideas, like framing Tommy Mack for a murder. The expected plot twists are sharp, the pace is brisk, and the scenes are gritty. If you like literary noir, Ask the Dice should satisfy.
