I know this applies to me, so it probably does for a lot of other people too.

When you see a content creator’s work, you are seeing years of their identity, and possibly where they want to go with their life. Speaking for myself, I very much know the crushing weight of disillusionment when responses start to trickle; even if it might not be obvious, it’s definitely there.

That being said, a single response or comment can instantly bring back motivation.
