I am a freelance writer in Viet Nam. Regarding the closedly related history between US and Viet Nam, I guess you heard about Ha Noi and Sai Gon. The first one is my brithplace and the later is where I grow up. Hanoi bear the scars of air raid and bombing of the US while Sai Gon is a vagabond in neonlight, rock, soul and prostitutes. They are still sisters 40 years after the war. They are still rentlessly quest for freedom and rights to be heard. The Viet Nam my homeland is the last totalianism country in the world. We are brutally ruled by the imhumane communist regime and being one of the poorest country at the same time. I heard about your endless love for poor and marginalized people so perhaps, it has been long that we were on your monitor screens :-) (love that idea:-) giggle!!!! It is lenghthy to talk about the endless suffering of Vietnamese people both in war and peace. A peace that the Vietnamese beraucrats propagandized as the blood debt. We, from the North has been blinded and place our trust in their message..but now as a torrent that finally must join the vast ocean, we wake up to the harsh reality when fighting for rights to live. We wish that you as a living saint of the world hear our wish and lend us your wisdom :-) Forever love!!! Hoa
I think a lot of us would be happy to know what those books are.
