Take a journey!!

I'd love it if all of you would come on a journey with me! There's a lot for me to learn as I walk, for the first time, into the world of a published author. I'm discovering that being a writer for thirty years doesn't, in any way, prepare you for the whirlwind of trying to promote a published work.

It's hard on many levels. It's hard to beg for reviews. It's hard to know how to best promote your work. You want people to notice your book, but throwing up 10 posts an hour on Twitter or Facebook will only get you blocked! I'm seventy-four years old and I had never before heard the word 'Takeover', an experience I am now growing familiar with. It's a whole new vocabulary and a whole new world.

At times I feel almost sorry for 'Love's Magic' because by the time the sequel comes out I will probably have a much better idea of what the hell is going on and how to navigate these roiling waters!

I've only recently started a newsletter, another new experience complete with new software to learn on Mail Chimp. I'd love it if you would go to my website at Revolutionary Heart and sign up for it! I can't always promise that it'll be perfect. But I do promise that it'll have articles, news, promotions, giveaways, and anything else I can think of to pop into it. The fact that I don't know what I'm doing means I'm free to experiment because I'm not locked into someone else's format!
