Today’s #theserebelwaveschallenge prompt is “rebel” — and, to me, poetry feels inherently rebellious, whether in highlighting injustices through the most straightforward language or simply defying typical structure. All of these poetry books were huge influences on my word choices in THESE REBEL WAVES, helping me reach those elusive “truffle” words and really push myself prose-wise.
