Graham HurleyMy rating:
3 of 5 starsFollowing as it does the fate of individuals caught in the maelstrom as the world spins uncontrollably toward war, this makes an interesting comparison with Robert Harris'
Munich. Hurley's writing is taut and well-paced and he converges his characters' plot lines well. So why only three stars? A pivotal interview feels contrived and a bit implausible and, to my mind, the ending peters out rather than resolving.
Still worthwhile though.
