Here's an interview with me over at
Pine Reads Review!
On the writing front, still working on
Snug Ship. Everyone's deep in the bowels of a massive wrecked spaceship, trying to decide if virtual reality is all that fun after all.
Snug Ship has a slightly different take on the privacy concerns that Stray looked into - I think whenever you do some kind of connected future-tech you can't avoid privacy concerns.
I might - might - get a first draft done by the end of June. Then it'll be editing. I'm at least confident that it'll be out this year, anyway! Then I'll be able to get on to working on
Tangleways, which I'm really looking forward to.

ETA: Also, I thought that was a very good point in Stray, the whole privacy concern, so I'm looking forward to how you address that in an mmo scenario. Considering I'm playing two of those these days and have heard about griefers enough in my acquaintance.
Also, I've recently reread Bones of the Fair for the first time, and Aspen annoyed me much less than the first time around ^^. I really could appreciate all the interactions much more without that, not that I hadn't loved the protagonist and Aristide anyway. Eventually I am hoping you might write more in that world, whether in Darest proper or in that Empire which sounded totally intriguing based on the people you had us meet.
ETA: Those were some great questions and answers in that interview and it's also making me want to link you to my favourite Youtuber's most recent Let's Play - Gopher's Skyrim SSE Thief & probably Assassin playthrough of Lennard, the vain and charming Imperial who likes the shiny things in life (he was finally convinced to try Inigo as companion, although I'm not sure if Lennard as a person might not eventually get rid of him).
Gopher is a Mancunian living in Norway and around 48 years old - he has one of the most mellifluous voices I know.
