I'm a total tea freak and have been for years. I'm also a tea snob, but a kind one :) I only drink Japanese tea…it's so much fresher tasting than Chinese. Here's some info about varieties of Japanese tea on wikipedia. I've tried probably all of them. My favorite is gyokuro, which is really high grade and kind of expensive. On a daily basis I drink a variety of senchas and often add a little matcha to it. Matcha is finely ground green tea powder and the stuff that's used in the Tea ceremony.
