Friday Keaton Dinner Presentation and Sunday Walking Tour
Short notice, but I am giving presentations and walking tours as part of the special Buster Keaton June 15-17 Celebration Weekend, centered around the dedication this Saturday of a new plaque honoring the site of Buster’s former studio.
[image error]The Hollywood Heritage Museum will host the gala opening Friday June 15 with an evening of screenings, light dinner and dessert. Actor Paul Dooley will reminisce about the early days of his career and his unforgettable association with Buster, and I will give special photo/PowerPoint presentations about Buster’s Hollywood and Buster’s Studio, both with new discoveries. There are still a few spots left, so check the full details and tickets here.

I am also hosting a series of walking tours all weekend. While nine of the tours are full, there are still spots open for the final Sunday June 17, 5:00 pm tour, where we’ll visit the Hollywood block of Cahuenga where Buster made eight different movies, and the Chaplin-Keaton-Lloyd Alley, where Chaplin filmed The Kid, Buster filmed Cops, and Harold filmed Safety Last. The tour is free, but you must RSVP to participate. This link has the full schedule of events for the entire weekend – scroll down to Sunday to RSVP for this final tour Sunday at 5:00 pm.
