I wonder what the benefits are for a job like that.

We know what our prompt does for a living, but why does he choose this profession? What led him to it? Who is “she”? His ex? His sister? A whistleblower? The woman who was his savior or mentor? The girl he deeply loves but had to give up? Will he be able to finish the job?
