Delphinium

Barb on the deck,

tying up the towering Delphinium,

which has fallen over

during the night

under the weight of its deep blue flowers.

An early summer morning.

A blue jay behind this,

busy at the suet.

All the trees.

What work it would be

if Christ were really present

in the Eucharist!
