The Masons

I'm intrigued by all the mystery. Any secret society really. I just think they're neat. Here in my new town, I live only a handful of blocks from the Masonic Lodge and I always look at it when I drive by. It's a really cool building, aggressively square and stone, with a dignity and a darkness to it. It looks like a cross between a temple and a tomb.

Not gonna lie, the thought has crossed my mind of joining up just to see what it's all about and to get a look inside that awesome building. I did some research and apparently you have to believe in a supreme being of some sort—not necessarily the Christian God, but SOME sort of supreme being—to be allowed in.

Honestly, I don't think I can say that I do. Can't really say that I don't either, but am I certain there's a supreme being? Hell to the no.
