the big 2.0

It was two years ago today that my life changed forever...

And it just keeps getting better and better:


That's right. My daughter is two today. *sniffles!* I am not one to normally get mushy about birthdays, but I just can't believe it. Two years! She's, like, this big girl now. *sob* Okay, I'll stop.

*reaches for tissue, takes deep breath*

We're not making a huge deal about the birthday, just a small party with the family and a few close friends. I know I have years of birthday party pressure a

Also, on an unrelated note: I have a friend who has hated reading ever since we met in first grade. Despite my efforts, no books caused her to enjoy reading. Until, finally, she stumbled upon your books. She has read Just Listen and The Truth About Forever so far, and she loves them. I just wanted to thank you. I'm hoping that reading your novels will make her a little more open to the world of literature.
