“She’s pretty. Hell of a cook, too,” Dunn said as he walked into the office. 

Archer glared at him. “You gonna start with me, too?” 

Dunn shook his head. “Nope. Just making conversation.” 

“Good. And keep your hands to your fucking self while you’re at it.” 

Dunn huffed a laugh. “How long have you known her?” 

“I got here yesterday.” 

Dunn’s dark brows rose. “And that fast you’re sniffing?” 

“I’m not sniffing. She’s best friends with my brother.” 

“Which she made perfectly clear means she’s single. You’re the one who argued that point.”
