June Update (Post-Colossalcon)
Hey guys! I got a lot of new followers over the weekend and I’d like to take the time to say welcome to each and every one of you. I hope you all are enjoying your books and that the post-con haze hasn’t hit you quite as hard as it hit me. But, con-crashed or not, the show must go on. Here are some updates for this month!
- I’ve finished the chapter notes for my next book project, a witch/chaos god dark romance that I hope to have completed sometime in August. It’s looking like a fun time from the planning stage, so let’s hope that translates well to the writing phase.
- Revisions are underway for Apricity, the prequel to The Tempest Series. In all the rush to prepare for the convention, I’ve been slacking a bit in leading the charge on this project. I’ll be taking this week to assess progress on the revisions and cover and hopefully I’ll have an estimated date of publication for you all very soon.
- Redamancy, the final book in The Duskriven Chronicles, is completed and awaiting revisions as well. Hard edits on this will take place once Apricity’s revisions are squared away, but with any luck this book will be up for publication before the end of the year.
- Colossalcon is through, and that leaves me with one last convention for the year: Youmacon in Detroit, Michigan! I am for-sure attending this con, but the jury is still out yet on whether or not I will be tabling. I’ll have an answer for that later this month, but if all goes well I will be in Artist Alley with copies of my entire collection (including Apricity once it goes live) for sale.
(Side Note: If you have my books but want my signature too, conventions are a great place to get that! Even if I’m not tabling I am still wandering the con hall with my pen in my bag, so bring your books if you attend and hunt me down.)
As of right now, that’s all I’ve got on the table update-wise. June is the start of my second-phase projects for 2018. My current plans include revising two books and then writing two more to prepare for next year’s publication schedule. I’ll be sure to let you all know what’s coming and when once the dates have been hammered out. I had a great time at Colossalcon, but I think it’s time to get back to work. Happy reading, everyone, and as always…
Until next time!
