Release Day!

THE METAWARS HAVE BEGUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Photobucket

Today, I sit back and look over the journey it's been, getting this book into readers' hands. I wrote the first draft almost four years ago. I revised it quite a lot. I queried it. I revised it again. I trunked it. I signed with my agent and sold a different series. I pulled it back out and revised it again.

I sold it. Quite a different version from that first one, but the book it became is so much improved from what it once was.

And it's so pretty.

Thank you, everyone who helped bring this book to fruition. Thank you, especially, my loyal readers. This one's for you. :)

Cher I will have to tell the hubby about this new series, he loves your books. I'll get the Kindle version and I'll get the book for him. Old fuddy-duddy still likes the books in his hands.

Kelly Hi Cheri! I hope you both enjoy the new series. I admit to being a bit of a fuddy-duddy, too, when it comes to my books. *grin*

Mark I'm confess to being a fuddy-duddy as well, I love reading an actual book, No kindle etc in my future plans :-)

Kelly I enjoy my Nook. I use it for books and authors that are only available as e-books, because I hate reading off my laptop. :)

message 5: by Linda (new)

Linda I can't wait to get into the new series. Having vision problems thank God for audio books. I have come to love them so. I am so glad I found your books Kelly, continued success and good health to you.

Mark Hi Kelly,
One week and two hunderd fifty pages into " Three days to dead now, and the story has really got me hooked, you are a brilliant writer and story teller, thank you for hours of escapism and entertainment.
I like to read twice a day, in the morining after I get home from my night shift and walking the dogs I like like to sit on the back deck with a good book, a good bottle of micro brewery or imported English beer, and a good strong cigar, helps me wind down before bed, and then I like to repeat the prescription sans beer of course beforee leaving for work in the evening. The dogs are usually sitting at my feet, happy relaxing times.
Have you ever read Kim Harrison's Rachel Morgan/The Hollows series, really great books, I think you'd love them, well there is talk of aa TV series being made, great news for Kim and her fans, me included.
It was the Hollows series that got me into this genre of reading, most of my previous reading being non fiction, I think to myself, " damn! what have I been missing ". Your Dregs series is the second series of books for me, as as I said they are a great read, I already have books 2 and 3 ready to read at home.
Thanks again Kelly, and continued good luck for what I am sure is a long and bright future ahead of you.
Mark :-)

Maghon Thomas ok, so in my own defense, I am trying to savor the moment.... I had to work all weekend, even though I got the book on it's release day, I haven't read it yet, BUT, I am saving it so I can start when I don't have to stop (say this weekend, since it's my weekend off) because I know it'll reach my expectations and I am so absolutely excited to read it all the way through!!! :) congrats again and thanks for giving me more from you to read!!!
