A Giveaway!

Here's where I hope I make you glad you subscribed to this blog.

I have the early finished paperbacks now of my June release, HEAVEN ADJACENT. And I'm going to give three away right now on this blog.

Now. Here's where I ask you to read a couple short paragraphs on how to enter correctly, and most people don't. And what can I do? I can only ask you to read them. I want to give you free books, but the entry has to be done in such a way that I can contact you if you win. So please, give me thirty seconds here:

***PLEASE READ BELOW!***

Leave a comment below to be entered. Please DO leave your email address in the comment form (even though it will say it's optional). I promise I won't use it for any other purpose but to notify you if you win. Please DON'T leave your email address in the body of your comment unless you want everybody to see it. (It will seem there is no place for your name and email. But when you hit "Post Comment," you'll see those fields come up.)

And if you're reading this on Goodreads, please click through and leave your comment on my original blog. Otherwise I worry I'll forget you when the time comes to draw names.

I'll leave this open for nine or ten days and then draw three winners at random. Good luck!

Barbara Manuel Heaven Adjacent is at the top of my "to read" list. I get excited whenever I see that there is a new Catherine Ryan Hyde release in my future. Love your books.

message 2: by Lisa Appleby (new)

Lisa Appleby I have been reading your books for the past year or so starting with Allie & Bea and working my way back through all the others. I enjoy your writing style, characters, and message. I read chapters from “The long steep path” to an outpatient recovery group. I am looking forward to reading your most current book.

Thanks, Lisa. I never thought about that book for a recovery group, but that's a nice thing to hear.

LITPT is a much older title. You might find you like the newer ones better. I won't be offended if that's the case, but... you tell me!

Bobby The books 📚 I’ve read by you have the recurring theme of a “trek” and are all written with such heart. I’m sure “Heaven Adjacent “ will continue this perfect mix. I look forward to reading it, winning or not. Thank you for your ❤️!

Never did see place for e-mail but not really computer savvy so will just get my own copy!! Lol

message 28: by Shannon (new)

Shannon I have enjoyed reading all of your books. With a lot of authors, there is a pattern to their writing and the reader knows what will happen within the first few chapters of the book. With your books, I am amazed every time with the breadth and development of the characters and stories. No two stories are similar, but all are fantastic. I look forward to reading more of your work as you have become one of my favorite authors.

Lynn I love this quote from your book Where We Belong (it describes me exactly, lol):

"I never have much to say unless I’m in a library or a bookstore; and then I say too much. I never seem to get the talking thing right."

I just wish I could meet some people like some of the characters in your book; but alas, all the females in my age group around here are completely, totally wrapped up in their grandkids and/or caring for an Alzheimer's-afflicted spouse, which you can't blame them for, of course--I wish I'd had grandmothers like these gals are, lol--but it's harder than heck to get to spend any time with them. Sign of the times I guess: more & more people are raising their g'kids and can't afford a place for an Alzheimer's spouse.

So your books are a nice escape, thanks.
