message 8: by Annette (new)

Annette Cancer suck big moose b*lls. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and healing prayers. We all care very much about you (and not just b/c you're an amazing writer but because you're simply an amazing person.)

It's hard to not feel connected to your favorite authors in this digital age. You get to see their pics, blogs, facebook statuses. Years ago you hope to catch a single glimpse of them on a TV interview or random book signing. Now not only do they touch your lives through their writing, they touch your lives by opening theirs to you and millions of others. I don't know if I'd have the courage or strength to do that myself, but I'm glad some authors do.

When you feel lost, come back and read how many people are here for you. We are your fans, but we are also like your adopted family. :o)
