Vanda Denton Stuart, how would you use apogee in a sentence? I've had some very interesting responses to this.

Stuart Aken Hi Vanda. Sorry for the delay in replying: I've been immersed in the preparation of my latest novel, so I can get it to my publisher. That's now done, so I'm free to do something else again.
I'm probably most likely to use 'apogee' in it's astonomical sense in one of my scifi books or stories. However, for the purposes of this comment, I decided to challenge myself to create a more figurative use:
'The world is currently ruled by more narcissists, sociopaths and fools than has ever been the case; we can but hope we've reached the apogee of luncay among world leaders.'
