2018: The Year of Creepy Tech


2018 is shaping up to be the creepiest year in technology history.  Sure, we’ve had mass surveillance for years.  Facial recognition and cell phones — also highly creepy.  But two companies — Amazon and Google — have really turned the creepy factor up to 11.  With such things as Amazon controlled door locks to Google talking to other humans for you (and teaching your children to treat Artificial Intelligence nicely)… well… 2018 is definitely winning the creepy tech contest.
