So the only recent picture I have of my mom and me is a group photo that even when cropped still includes a small baby ear, but somehow that feels appropriate. This year has been crazy and busy and filled with changes - but my mom has been there through it all, guiding and supporting even as my own motherhood path grows challenging (toddlers, amiright?).
