Dealing With Writing Rejection

When I started outlining my latest book, RUT-BUSTING BOOK FOR WRITERS, I knew I’d want a chapter focusing on rejection—not because I like the idea of dealing with negative outcomes (who does?), but because rejection is part-and-parcel of the writer’s life.

We write far more than we see published, and even if we get an acceptance, chances are it comes with “suggestions” (read that: “orders”) for revisions, edits and improvements.

A client loves what we wrote but… “Can you include at least 50%...
