Amazon is Deleting Valid Reviews

I have discovered Amazon is deleting valid reviews for no
reason and four reviews of my reviews that were on Amazon.com were deleted yesterday. Amazon also owns Goodreads and they are not giving any reason as to why they are deleting valid reviews. This is unsettling as reviews are important to indie authors. Amazon is also not allowing anyone to leave reviews outside of their own country anymore, so authors will be receiving less exposure for their books worldwide.

I have sent Amazon emails about this issue and they have not been helpful whatsoever. If this continues, I will leave Amazon. This is one of the reasons I have not published many of my stories on Amazon. If you wake up one day and discover reviews of your book have mysteriously disappeared, this is most likely the reason why.

Wishing all the indie writers the best.

Cynthia Hamilton I guess that solves the mystery of why I've seen some of mine disappear. I figure it takes about 1,000 downloads to equal one review. That is so much work on our part for such small yield. It is super discouraging to see those reviews vanish.

I agree. It is unfair and everytime I have attempted to reach out to AMAZON, they only apologize and do nothing. Thanks for sharing and best wishes.
