‘My Local Bobby’ Private Police Force

The first private police force to hit Britain has proved such a success that the scheme is set to be rolled out nationwide.

The scheme, known as My Local Bobby, offers a ‘meet-and-greet’ service from a client’s car and a hotline to their officer who can be tracked on an iPad.

These uniformed ‘bobbies’ cover up to 250 houses and the firm promises to have a response at the scene within five minutes, all for the fee of £100 to £200 a month.
