In search of the best Mi Quang in Danang (P.2)

Happy Vietnam UnificationDay! I’m back after a very busy time working on my new restaurant. This post will be about my favorite Danang dish: Mi Quang.

I’ve said this sentence a thousand times before: “Mi Quang is Danang’s soulmate”. Everyone from the Central of Vietnam craves of Mi Quang. We can eat it for breakfast, lunch, dinner or even as a midnight – snack. Like a rock concert in your mouth, the soft and tender noodles harmonize with the attractive broth, fresh vegetables, and definitely a beautiful crust of rice cracker.

Seeking a great Mi Quang store is my hobby all the time. In case you’re new to Danang, check Part 1 to find the best Mi Quang in town. However, giving a try to these hidden places below will give you such an incredible experience.

1. Mì Quảng Bà Liên – K54/34 Ông Ích Khiêm 

It’s so ridiculous to say so, but 7.30am is the closing time at this store. Believe me, it’s true.

Good food worths every penny! 4-5 years ago, on every weekend, my parents always woke me up really early to have breakfast which made me angry all the time. Yeah, but they know so well how to calm me down with a bowl of special “Mi Quang Ga” (Mi Quang with Chicken) like this. Make sure to come before 8am or else NOTHING LEFT (OMG). Traveling 10km in the heavy rain to reach this small store this morning brought me a feeling of great achievement, lol. Surely you will get amazed by the “nước nhưn” or special broth here, not so oily but still flavorful, which absorbs well into the noodles. On top of that, chicken is cooked through, so so good. You definitely should try it
