Pilot makes emergency landing…

What appears to be an uncontained engine failure caused this B737  pilot to make an emergency landing at Philadelphia Tuesday, April 17. Airliner engines are designed to keep shards and shrapnel from failed engines contained. The NTSB will be taking a close look at what failed and if there are similar problems in other engines of this vintage.
