Oh no!

I’m much too lazy to approach my pieces with a painter’s perspective.  I use solid line work like a lot of folks as a main driving force.  Then I color using a combo of cel shading aesthetics and happy accidents.

Seriously, I very rarely have any clue how the colors are gonna turn out.  But once I’ve settled on the final colors, I pixel lock the line layer (I keep the lines separate from the color layers) and color in the lines to match their surrounding area.  It gives a more painted look in the end, even though I had no clue where the colors were gonna end up.
