Moon Song #5

Well, well, how are you, folks? It’s been a long time since my last post. I have been busy with work and other programs. And, I am all set to welcome my little one in July! ❤ So, I am spending much time in talking to it, playing music to it, interacting with it and feeling its fierce kicks and punches. And, yeah, I think my creative juices are flowing again. You can find my new poems and verses in YourQuote app.

So, here’s a new poem on moon.

Seizing the moon, I wrote poetry on it.

Line by line, with black ink and pure love.

But you never acknowledged my verses.

My love is still unrequited.

You see the scars on the moon?

They are not mere scars,

as philosophers claim.

They are not craters,

as scientists pontificate.

They are the testimony of my love.

They are my heartfelt verses,

disguised as scars and craters.
