52 Degrees First Anniversary Dinner

A few days ago I received a special invitation from 52 Degrees to a private dinner held in honor of their first year anniversary. The dinner was to take place at 8 PM on Thursday 20 October 2011.

So last night, Thursday night, we went to 52 Degrees for the celebration. 6b3an guess the first place I stopped by wain?

Of course my book. Glad to see that not many copies are left on the shelf ;) Next we checked Lamy's Perfumes to see if maybe my perfume was out, celebrity 3eshtaw :p

Now out yet but according to Ms. Lamya Al-Farsi who was celebrating there as well the perfume is ready to be distributed but needs two more weeks in a dark storage so the scents would get their optimum mix. Great fact to know :D

Afterwards we took a tour to check out all the new merchandise out there especially the new season's clothing. When we were finally done we were instructed to grab a seat at whatever restaurant we liked as all the restaurant will be serving us a fixed celebratory dinner menu. We chose to sit at Baked.

There were beautiful flower arrangements on every table in baked plus a reserved sign. Then we were given the Anniversary dinner fixed menu to choose from.

As we placed our orders I was coaxed to say a word in front of Alwatan TV's camera. I refused, and refused, simply because whenever I see a camera I tend to blither out nonsense. Then I finally caved in and as expected I blabbered nonsense and god knows what I said. Shameful really *hides face in hands*.

I returned, red faced and heart thumbing min el fashla, to our table where I was told to write a word for 52 Degrees first anniversary so that insha2 Allah next anniversary we get to read it and see how things went etha Allah 36ana 3omor. Now that I enjoyed doing :D

Our dinner had arrived by that point, mine a froobie and a cup of cofffee. Butootee had a green salad.

A presentation on the journey of 52 degrees was shown on a big screen as we dug in.

Good food, good company, buzzing happy atmosphere, a beautiful celebration it was. As we finished up dinner we were prepared to leave but 52 degrees had one more thing to present: A celebration goody bag!

Inside the bag was a 52 Degrees first anniversary cupcake and an envelope.

What's inside the envelope? A thank you note perhaps?

It was a a VIP Loyalty card for discounts and offers while shopping in 52 Degrees! Awsome! I have just wished to have more of these cards in Kuwait merely two days ago! Should wish for more and more stuff :p

What an happy fun filled night :D Thank you 52 Degrees for inviting us to celebrate your first anniversary, we wish you more success in the many years to come, you make us proud :D
