Friday Five

1. Right now reading this amazing YA fantasy that Jen Laughran, alias Literaticat, recommended reading.

I love this cover more than the one on my hardback as I feel it really shows the main character more. Love that she's not a lollipop(super skinny) but rather kind of like a Jordan Sparks with her figure(full figured). Also she's spunky and not afraid to voice her opinions.

I preordered from the Indie bookstore BOOKS, INC. http://www.booksinc.net/ This is the bookstore that Jen has worked at and where they have those amazing YA booksignings. **My one huge goal, besides getting an agent, is to get invited to sign at this store. How cool would that be?

I love getting the latest PEOPLE magazine every Friday morning! Plus I subscribed to THE WRITER and SEVENTEEN mag. So worth the extra money! Plus, I don't have to toss them out after I read them but rather achive them. The only bummer, according to husband, is he can't read them on his iPad until a few weeks later.

**Guilty pleasure:

Well, Mother in Law is gone...for at least a month. Yes, she left her illness..again. Both son and I were sick. Sigh. But now that's she's gone I have my house back! Yay!

Tomorrow plan to check out the latest remake of THE THREE MUSKETEERS:
