What was your cut off point in Dragon Ball? I remember reading that you liked the early stuff but the later stuff did nothing for you.

I prefer the early stuff–before Goku grows up. The later stuff is ok, just not really my jam. I’m less interested in serious fighting comics than just reading fun jokes. But I liked stuff like the Trunks saga– because it’s got that T2 grim future sci fi to it. 

I think as far as pure dense fun Dr Slump is my favorite of his work- but it lacks the cool Chinese legend but with toasters feel that makes early DB so great.
