Goodread's pulls via the site's rss or atom feed. Don't worry it will get aggregated here too.

Just swapped the feed url to point to the new site. :)
I clicked the re-sync, and the new post pulled. I don't know off hand what the normal schedule for polling his blog is, would guess it is either daily or hourly.
