Now I Can Relax

Ahhhhh!  That's the way I feel after submitting all my tax info to C.P.A.  Just like Grayson, one of daughter Christine's family dogs.



I imagine all of you wonderful Cozy Chicks readers and friends are already relaxing at this mid-April point on the calendar.  Now, I can too.  What am I talking about?  Tax Time, of course.  This is the first time I've turned in all my tax info to my C.P.A  at the middle of April.  But, this year 2018 was a little strange.





Starting off with that dreadful, awful, horrible Flu virus, everything seemed to get delayed.  It sent me to our main hospital's ER not just once, but twice! Dreadful.  That Flu totally earned its name as the worst flu virus of the last twenty years.  It knocked me out of my Christmas visit back east with my family.  I had to cancel flights and grab a last minute end-of-the-year flight in order to make it back to Northern Virginia metro DC area the day before daughter Maria's wedding to her best friend John on December 30th.

 Then that Flu started spreading.  Stories came out of cruise ship passengers being hit with it in the middle of their cruises while out to sea.  Yikes!  I love to cruise, but those stories of passengers having to stay in their staterooms and suffer through all the miserable Flu effects alone because there  weren't enough medical staff available to help everyone scared me off.  So, I cancelled my Caribbean cruise scheduled for the end of January.  No thanks.



By now, that Flu has hopefully worked it's way across the country.  I certainly hope so.  And I hope all of you folks have been able to stay healthy.   I also hope you've already filed your income taxes.  :)
