Where have you been?

Hi there! Time flies when you're having fun, right?  It's been over two years since my last post, and about the same time since I published anything.  It's not that I haven't been writing. It's that I've been doing some other stuff as well, thus writing took the backseat.

However, things happen that spark your imagination, and make you feel like leaving everything else aside to put down those thoughts in paper. A piece of news I read a while back gave birth to this short story that now I give to you.
