I mentioned this in my stories this morning, but I also feel like I need to make a post about this so everyone can be informed. I woke up this morning to discover that someone had impersonated me, created a fake insta account with my profile picture, and was trying to take advantage of my current giveaway and my followers. Let me say that this made me extremely furious and frustrated. And it’s hard to get on my bad side. Thankfully, a few of you let me know right away (thank you! Or else I would not have known this was going on!!) and helped me begin reporting this individual. I have no idea if Instagram has taken down the account yet, but hopefully it will be soon because this account is trying to get you to download an app of theirs to spam you. Which, again, absolutely *infuriates* me. I was so excited about this giveaway—I want to celebrate and thank all of you amazing people—and here we have someone try to spoil it. So, I want to make sure everything is clear and there’s no confusion:

• The account beccajross_giveaway is fake. It is a spam account.

• If they messaged you and said that you were a winner and all you needed to do was click on a link and download their app… DON’T. Please don’t. Report and block them.

• For the record and any future giveaways… I will never create another account to announce a winner. I will always announce the winner on my own account. I will tag you if you win and then it will be up to you to DM me.

All of this to say… I truly hate that this individual has done this. But thank you all for alerting me and helping me report them! And my giveaway is still on! It’ll close tomorrow at noon, EST and I’ll announce the winner on Wednesday!
