Michele bookloverforever money cannot buy happiness. it can buy wealth, excellent healthcare (but not health itself), security, and pleasure: good food, fine wines, fine art, fine cars...but does not really fill the emply places of the heart/spirit. Things do not make one happy, pleasure does not make one happy, people who care about you and for whom you care do make you happy. One cannot buy love. When is enough, enough? When you have a nice place to live, decent clothes, enough nutritious food, reliable transportation, work that is worthwhile, savings to see you through at least 2 yrs if things "go bad", provide for the education of your children, books to read, music to listen and enrich your life, dinner out once a week, movies/theatre once a month, the means to communicate with others electronically (cell phones, computers). That is a good life and more than enough for anyone.
