It seems that ranking has returned to Erotica books

Around a week ago, for some reason all ranking for erotica books and authors vanished from Amazon's author central as well as the book page itself, only keeping the genre.

As of today, that is no longer the case. Which makes me wonder what this whole thing was about, if it is going to happen again and why it happened in the first place.

Half of the people reporting it took note that it was a glitch that so happened to only remove one genres ranking.

Others who were reporting it and got in contact with Amazon reported that it wasn't a glitch and they were removing ranks.

You see the issue here?

While I do agree some of us may have jumped the gun. I also think that Amazon can do a much better job informing their writers/content creators about this sort of thing.

Even they were removing ranks, give us a heads-up so we can prepare or won't freak out when it happens.

If you are experiencing a glitch or moving books from one section to another. (I honestly think this happened because they removed some romance novels to erotica and it messed with the rankings) then e-mail us and give us information.

When people remain silent, it leads them to thinking the worst possible outcome, even if that outcome is far from the truth.
