An Insider's Look to the Villains
My favorite characters in my books are often times my villains. As you know, my all time favorite character is Alma, but right behind her from DEMONS ARE JACKASSES is Sven.
Originally, he was a cookie cutter character. *shakes head* I needed someone who was perfectly evil with a side of sadistic who was impervious to normal methods of banishment and/or death.
But I needed Malika who's the direct descendent of the witch that originally trapped the Guardian demon. But with Malika came a boyfriend and at that point, I had quite a triangle!
What the reader doesn't know is that off camera, there's a lot of interaction. In some of the previous books, there were scenes with the three of them and they were fantastic!
Ufortunately, due to the main plot line, I didn't really have space for them and the got whacked! But! I had FUN writing those scenes with my evil-evil villains living a not so evil life. LOL!
