March 20: Happiness is knowing not to look back

I spend a lot of time searching for quotes that sum up how I feel at a particular moment in time. I’m usually in bed reflecting on my day when I’m trawling the net for these words of wisdom. Today, as someone from my past pushed their way into my headspace in an unproductive way, I found myself getting lost in the same BS all over again.

And tonight, well this quote by Michael McMillan appeared in my search, and yes… it was spot on! And apt, given the writing reference. Sometimes a few words with meaning we already know to be true, somehow provide a reminder of that truth, and our world is back on its axis again.

And so, the happiness returns to my day / night.
