Original Fantasy the Writer’s Guide is Here!

So you’ve finished your genre novel and it is Frankenstein’s monster.

Don’t Panic!

The whole reason this Original Fantasy blog exists is because I originally wanted to share my mentorship with the amazing, award-winning, Isobelle Carmody, with all you awesome genre writers out there to help tame your own beasts. Some of you signed up to the newsletter, others got a free PDF of all the posts, and many joined me for the fun of Priori Podcast.

But now, I’m pleased to announce that I finally took all of the wonderful information from this mentorship and turned it into a writer’s guide so you have it all in one, easy to refer to book! Not only does the book expand on this blog, but it also includes handy exercises to apply to your own manuscripts. A crash course in improving your writing career from emerging to established, if you will.

“Emily creates a warm, funny, personable read in this guide book version of our mentorship. I love it. Even if I do come off as a stern and slightly frightening Mage…” ~ Isobelle Carmody

Whether you write fantasy, science-fiction, crime, thriller, YA or chick-lit, this helpful (and humorous) guide will hone your skills and lead you through the quagmire of writing original fiction.

In it I detail the lessons I learnt during my twelve-month mentorship with Isobelle, and have included dozens of examples of my original passages, along with Isobelle’s insightful comments.

An award-winning publisher and author in my own right, I hope I can simplify and demystify the complexities of writing and editing your novel.

It would tickle me rainbow if you supported this blog (and your own career!) by grabbing a copy in ebook or print
