I feel so rested!

This weekend we gave the Things away. It was their first official sleepover, rather than spending a night with relatives. Not that the Things are not welcome at their various relatives, simply that we live a wee bit for a casual, 'Come on over.' They had a lovely time. So did we. It occurred to me that since Thing 1 was born, I have never spent a night in my own residence with out at least one Thing. A holiday in my own home. How novel.
