Another successful event. Yesterday, Saturday, March 10th, I signed copies of my historicals, The Broken Lance and The Sign of the Eagle series @ Barnes & Noble Booksellers, Kennewick, Washington. This is in the heart of farm and wine country in south central Washington along the Oregon state line, where the Snake, Yakima and Columbia Rivers meet and flow west to the Pacific Ocean. I met lots of interesting people, handed almost all my flyer packets and signed lots of books, The Sign of the Eagle sold out and many of the other novels also did well. Store manager, Rob, who recently took over as manager, said that he had I heard that I was a "real go getter." "Now, that I have seen you in action, I believe it!" he said. "Most authors just sit at the table looking at their cell phones or the desk, never speaking to anyone."
I want to thank, Rob; assistant manager, Jamie; and all the other associates who contributed to this successful event.
I will return for an encore signing in August. Details later.
Next signing, B&N, Blossom Hill, San Jose, California, Saturday, March 24th. More details later.
