Read an Ebook Week

March 4-10, 2018 is Read an Ebook Week at Smashwords.com. Thousands of ebooks have been made available free or deeply discounted at participating sellers including Smashwords, Apple iBooks, Barnes and Noble, and Kobo, as well as websites such as GetFreeEbooks.com and Manybooks.net.

This annual event was the brainchild of Rita Toews, whose aim was to encourage book lovers across the globe to give ebooks a try. You can check out The Story Behind ‘Read an eBook Week,’ where Rita was interviewed by Mark Coker, founder of Smashwords back in 2010.
