Did Eve Do Us a Favor?

Challenge and Opportunity

Writing fiction is a challenging task. It is generally said to be a creative pursuit. Easy statement but not so simple in practice. How many of us have looked at the image of the writer sitting at his/her desk wondering how to begin. Of course the first question is probably not what to write but why write. Somehow we feel a challenge or a push but at base writing fiction is fundamental to human existence.

Oh please! (I don’t mean that.) Not everyone feels the urge...

soda Many religions also fail to recognize Lilith as Adam's (1st) wife. And if she is recognized, it's to tell everyone how evil SHE was, and that she was cast out of paradise b/c she wasn't submissive enough. Message to women: be submissive or else! It's easy to see how centuries of indoctrination and men have ruled the world. As L. Ron Hubbard said: If you want to be powerful, create a religion.

Roger Burt I've had a lot of trouble about the way the evilization of women has crept in across the ages in all forms. Not that I think there ever really was a Paradise but I can't imagine a more boring place.
I am so hopeful about how the change in regard to women is progressing. We have no idea where this is going to lead us but I'm convinced the changes will be of a degree of benevolence we have yet to begin to understand.
I'm interested that on my blog when I speak of the shortcomings of the male culture I'm getting positive responses from men.
