Science Fiction: Where I Might Be Headed

As you may or may not know, I started out writing horror. When I was a kid, I wrote short horror stories. It wasn't until mid way through high school I discovered the thriller/suspense genre and stayed in it ever since. Of course, with the release of my first horror novella, you can see I'm getting back into the horror genre and I'm loving it. Horror is a lot of fun to try and craft, albeit dark and disturbing at times. But it really got me thinking, What else should I do to push the boundaries?
Recently, I started reading Stephen King's Dark Tower series and enjoying it very much. But it also got me thinking. Could I do this? Could I write a fantasy novel? Could I write a fantasy series? I liked the thought and the challenge a lot. After all, I had written a horror piece which people seemed to enjoy. Science Fiction and Fantasy have been genres I've loved to read so why shouldn't I dip my pen in the same ink?
It's a long winded way of saying this, I know and I'm sorry. Now, I'm announcing that I will be pushing forward into the scifi/horror genre more so than I already have. I will still continue my horror novellas every year but look for stand alone novels in the horror and scifi genres soon! (And maybe a fantasy novel one day) I hope you enjoy what I'll be crafting in the near future! Let me know what you think in the comments below and remember, keep wandering, just not alone.
