Moosasaurus!

Remember the moose in book I, Awaken, that surfaces in the lake.... check out this pic someone on facebook posted: This is what I'm talking about :) If you have never come face to face with a moose this size, consider yourself lucky!

Being from Maine, it does happen, a lot. When I was a teenager I was camping in the Northern Maine woods and the day we departed, a moose about this size chased our car down a very long, bumpy dirt road. It body slammed the car, and there wasn't a heck of a lot we could do but keep driving.

And, if you have ever seen dirt roads in Maine, in the middle of the woods, there's no driving fast. :)
