Four high-school students are stuck in detention, when they discover a video game like no other. Once the game starts, they are literally transported within the game, discover a whole new world and take the form of their chosen avatars. With these new avatars, they discover they have new skills and weaknesses as they try to solve the mystery of Jumanji and make it back home in one piece.

I must admit that when I first saw the trailers for the new Jumanji movie, I was very skeptical. First off, sequels rarely live up to the original film and Jumanji was such a classic. I also wasn’t sure if this new video game take on Jumanji would work. Boy, was I ever pleasantly surprised. This movie was terrific! The trio of Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart and Jack Black provided an endless number of laughs. The plot was interesting and action-packed. Seeing this movie at the theatre is completely worthwhile and I highly recommend it for just about anyone.
